The Mythology of Hex
Thelma and ghosts
So thelma can eat, she can touch things, she can be handed things by Cassie but she can't touch people. My explanation is that she can only touch 'dead' things, like with wearing clothes
"I can only wear dead clothes, live ones make me itch."
Food is made of dead animals and plants so I guess that counts. It's a bit tenuous though cos if we're following the logic used with clothes, being used by a live person makes it 'live' or else she could wear any clothes as they are either man made and were never live or made from dead plant material ie cotton....hmmmm I'll keep pondering!
Below are the references I've found refering to Azazeal and the Nephalim. The Nephalim are also refered to as the fallen ones and the watchers. Nephalim is a hebrew word.
"Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling, unstable souls: a heart they have exercised with covetous practices.---(2 Peter, 2.14)
“And there arose much godlessness, and they committed fornication, and they were led astray, and became corrupt in all their ways.” ---(Enoch, 8, 2).
“The Lord knew that he was the chief trouble maker, that the whole earth has been corrupted through the works that were taught by Azazeal: to him ascribe all sin.” ---(Enoch,10,8-9).
“Again the Lord said to Uriel: 'Bind Azazeal hand and foot, and cast him into the darkness… let him abide there for ever, and cover his face that he may not see light. And on the day of the great judgement he shall be cast into the fire.” ---(Enoch, 10, 4-7)
“Neither a heaven above nor a firmly founded earth, but a place chaotic and horrible” ---(Enoch, 21, 3).
